Our History

Tradesure started out in Kings Norton, Birmingham in the same branch as sister company Heritage Classic Car Insurance. The founder of Tradesure Insurance Brokers was Chris Wilkinson. He began with the company name, Norton Insurance and created two brands under this to support the difference in his policy options. For Heritage, the sole scheme was aimed at classic car insurance, but Tradesure was designed to help cover motor traders for their road risk insurance policies.

Since 1965, Norton Insurance had developed swiftly, and with that Chris moved the office in 2011 to Vicarage Road. The retro style office was ideal to hold the growing staff members that were needed. Tradesure Insurance has grown from a small one man team to the team it is today through the hard work Chris put in to get competitive discounts for motor traders.

Today we offer a wider range of policies outside of our common and most popular, road risk cover. We can now offer van insurance, commercial vehicle insurance, modified 4×4 trade insurance and classic car trade insurance. We’re always looking to help the growing changes in the motor trade industry so if we can’t help right now, we’ll be able to help you in the future.
